Homemade smoker 3.wmv

Just finished painting, it came out better than I thought. I did one light coat, once it got tacky I did the final coat. Paint went on thicker than I thought, which is good. I was worried it would be to thin. Its supposed to be a satin black. From a distance it looks flat black, but up close it almost looks like it has a real dark brown tint. Either way I don't care how it looks, as long as its protected and don't rust. Next i'm going to season it very lightly with canola oil because it has all ready started to rust inside. Once everything is set and ready, I will take the element out and to a nice heavy coat and run it for a few hours.
